The TruPace E220 elliptical sells at an average retail price of $699. It is a solid elliptical trainer with 22 workout programs and 16 intensity levels with articulating foot pedals. This elliptical also has a great sound system. It’s a great machine for the price. Other ellipticals equivalent to this model in features retail for over $1000.
This particular model offers a lifetime warranty on the frame which is great considering it states that it has a 275 lb. user capacity, but in actuality can only handle 175 lbs. It’s too light of a machine for heavier users.
Overall, this is a good value for the price. If you are looking for an elliptical under $1000 that has a lot of features with a good sound system, then this is the way to go as long as you are not a heavy user. It’s meant for smaller framed individuals and will not withstand a lot of weight over time.

TruPace E200 Elliptical

The TruPace E200 elliptical is the entry model in its series and retails for only $499. It is quite compact and lightweight, but is also geared toward small users. As long as you know that it’s not meant for anyone over 250 lbs. then you are okay. Other than that, it’s a great entry level elliptical for the money.
This model has 22 programs and 16 intensity levels with a backlit LCD console and has a 90 day warranty on parts and labor. It has a lot of features that most ellipticals have as well such as the water bottle holder, built in workouts, etc. It does weigh only 116 lbs. so it is not extremely sturdy and heavier people should not use this machine.
The great thing about this elliptical is that it has a 30 day trial so if you are not satisfied with the machine, you can return it. This is a starter elliptical so you can’t expect to get everything that high-end ellipticals include, but you are getting a good machine for the price. Most other machines of this caliber retail around $800 so you are saving money with this model.
Overall, the TruPace E200 elliptical is a great buy for beginners and small users.

TruPace M150 Treadmill

The TruPace M150 treadmill is the top model offered by TruPace Fitness and retails for $899.  It has a 350lb weight capacity with a 2.5hp motor.  This well built machine is very sturdy and can accommodate many users – small or large.  It’s a great value as far as treadmills for under $1000 as it comes with a lifetime warranty on the motor and frame with 2yrs on parts and labor as well which you only find on treadmills over $1000.  That’s definitely a bonus when it comes to treadmills.

This model has up to a 15 incline level and a large running surface of 20” x 55”. Moreover, it has 14 preset programs that are very user friendly.  What I like most is how quiet the motor is given its size as well as the sound system.  Most treadmills of this size have very loud motors.

Overall, this is a great treadmill for the price offering tons of features and extremely well built. It’s had nothing but 5 star ratings so far on quality, features, reliability and price and therefore, it is definitely a great buy for under $1000!

The TruPace M150 is the top model in its line and a bit more expensive, but if you are looking for more durability, this is the way to go while still not spending a fortune.

The TruPace M120 is by far the best value in the TruPace line of treadmills because it offers so many features for the price. It’s priced at $699 and is comparable to other treadmills of its kind that sell for well over $1000. So far, I have only heard positive feedback about this treadmill.

This treadmill has 14 programs and an incline level up to 15. The display is easy to read as well. The TruPace does have a lifetime warranty on motor and frame and 1 year on parts and labor. It’s a little more durable than the lower TruPace M100 model as it has a weight capacity of 325 lbs rather than 225 lbs. Therefore, it can accommodate a range of users.

This 210 lb machine has a good size walking surface of 20” x 25” and a deck cushioning system for ease on the joints. Moreover, its audiosystem is iPod and MP3 compatible with two integrated speakers on the console.

As far as treadmills go, you are getting a lot for the money you are spending on this model in comparison to other treadmills. It hasn’t been out for very long so as far as reliability or performance for the TruPace line, there isn’t much to go on. They have been on the market since 2011 which is fairly new, but they seem to be a big hit for those looking to get the best value, but are on a budget.

The TruPace M100 Treadmill is a great buy for under $500. It’s got a power incline along with lots of other features that make this a quality machine. There are a lot of quick select buttons that make it very user friendly as well. You don’t have to spend 10 minutes trying to figure out this machine before using it. To me, that is a definite bonus.

This treadmill also has 13 workouts with 12 incline levels and an integrated heart rate monitor. These are great features to have on a treadmill. However, its weight capacity is 225 lbs. It’s not made for tall or heavy people, but for the average person it’s fine. This treadmill offers a compact walking surface and therefore, designed for smaller adults.

Overall, the TruPace is a great buy for under $500 because it offers a lot of features and comes with a 5 year warranty with 90 days on parts and labor. However, it is a lightweight treadmill so it is not recommended for active runners or heavy users. If you are an average sized adult on a budget who enjoys walking on a treadmill for exercise then this is a great choice. I would highly recommend this treadmill to young adults beginning to workout and to those who are looking to walk for better health indoors.

It is a total misconception to think that cardio is going to melt away belly fat. If you want to significantly lose fat around your belly, then you need to do strength training to see results. Erectile Dysfunction

Being a man is hard enough these days.  Since the day a boy is born, it is all about the family jewels. When that important muscle in between your legs is not working the right way, the first thing a man will do is panic. It is almost as if there life is coming to an end. You are not alone. Studies show that an estimated 18-30 million men are affected by ED or Erectile Dysfunction.

Erectile Dysfunction is when a man has consistent and repeated problems sustaining an erection. This obviously make intercourse very difficult and frustrating for all parties involved.  This does not just happen to old men, it can start in men as young as 40 years old.

There are several different forms of male sexual dysfunction, including problems with ejaculation and poor libido. In more cases than not, there is a physical basis for the problem of not achieving or maintaining an erection, referring to erectile dysfunction.

The symptoms to look at for in the case you may have erectile dysfunction are erections that are too soft for sexual intercours. You may feel, like you are ready and able to perform, but it can not actually happen. Another symptom is an erection that only lasts a short time and/or not being able to achieve an erection at all. Keep in mind that men who cannot get or maintain an erection at least 75% o the time they attempt to have sex are considered to have erectile dysfunction.

Unfortunately for all of us, as we age things do not work as well. Studies show that for men, 40% of them experience some degree of erectile dysfunction at the age of 40 compared to 70% at the age of 70. That is quite the increase. This does not mean that just because you are aging, your sex life is over. Erectile dysfunction can by treated by your doctor at any age.

There are several health issues that are linked to erectile dysfunction. Diabetes, cardiovascular disease, atherosclerosis, kidney disease, and multiple sclerosis are all closely linked to erectile dysfunction. Men that do have any of these conditions are more likely to experiece erectile dysfunction.

Again keep in mind, this can be controlled by your doctor, who will ask you questions about your symptoms a medical history. A complete physical exam to uncover signs  such as poor circulation or nerve trouble will be done. Your doctor will also look for abnormalities of the genital area that could cause problems with erections.

Erectile dysfunction is not the end of your sex life and can be treated. A few lifestyle changes can be made to improve sexual function such as giving up smoking, losing weight, and excercising more often can help by improving blood flow.  So with the help of your doctor and some lifestyle changes, you can begin to live your life the way you have always been.  It is only natural to feel embarrassed or angry when dealing with erectile dysfunction, but don’t forget that your partner is also affected.  Keep the lines of communication open and together everything will work out.

Ahhh, the joys of sex. When you are in the mood, I am sure the last thing you are thinking about is boosting your immune system or maintaing a healthy weight. Trying to get into better shape. Just thirty minutes of sex can burn 85 calories or more.  I know that really does not sound like a lot, but if you only did 42 hour-hour sessions, you would have burned 3,570 calories. That sounds much better!

Even though you may get crazy in the sack, you are not going to have a stroke. Many folks, especially older ones, worry that the efforts that come with having sex will cause  a stroke. That is not so. Researchers have actually showed that having sex twice or more a week reduced the risk of a fatal heart attack by half for men. Wow…it is time to get busy!

We all have days when we don’t feel ourselves. Our clothes are not fitting the right way or we just don’t look our best. You may need to have more sex. Sex actually makes you feel better about yourself. If a self esteem booster is what you need, we may have just the right medicine for you.

Who doesn’t need more, good sleep? What better time to sleep than after a strong orgasm. Sure you are tired after slapping skins for the last 30 minutes, but the oxytocin that is released during an orgasm also promotes sleep. Of course, getting enough sleep has been linked to many other good things, such as maintaining healthy weight and blood pressure. So really it is all making sense. You are going crazy together one minute, the next you are knocked out.

Sex can be so many things for us. It can be a bonding experience, a social encounter, or just simply for fun. Whatever way you are using sex, know that you are doing your body and mind good. Knowing the benefits of sex is just one more reason why we should having more of it. Just remember to keep it safe, relax, and enjoy.

Are Carbs Good For You?

Remember when carbohydrates were nothing to worry about? We ate jsut about anything we wanted.  You simply could not go wrong by eating carbs and they were the staple of most of our diets. Thanks to the wild popularity of the Atkins Diet, South Beach Diet, and other low carbohydrate diets, we have been brain washed and led to believe that carbohydrates are “bad”.

What exaclty are carbohydrates, also known as carbs? Carbohydrates are any large group of compounds(include sugars, starch,and cellulose) which contain carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. They are made up of sugars and starches, which provide energy for humans and animals, and cellulose which make up many plant structures.

Carbohydrates are claimed to be the culprit of unflattering flab and a large cause of the obesity epidemic. White bread, white rice, pastries, sugared sodas, and other highly processed foods, may definitely increase weight gain and cause you not to loose the unwanted pounds.

On the other hand, not all carbohydrates are bad. Whole grains, beans, fruit, vegetables, and other sources of intact carbohydrates just to the opposite. They promote good health and keep our bodies on track to shed those unwanted pounds.  Do not be misled by the dangers of carbohydrates. They are an important part of a healthy diet.

When trying to diet, which we all have tried at least once in our lives, choose good carbs, not no carbs. Many popular diets treat carbs as if they are just plain evil and the root of all body fat and excess weight. This was true for the original Atkins diet, which became widely popular in promoting the no-carb approach to dieting. There is evidence that shows that a low-carbohydrate diet may help people lose weight more quickly than just an ordinary low fat diet. Unfortunately, that this diet is short lived. Once you cut out all carbs completely, you will drop weight. It is something you can not do forever. Once you start to bring back carbs to your diet, you will gain weight back.  Carbs are needed in your diet, so add good carbs to your diet.

Adding good carbs is not hard to do and is very satisfying. Get your grains intact from foods such as whole wheat bread, brown rice, whole grain pasta, and other types that a lot of people are not very familiar with like quinoa, whole oats, and bulgur. Your mainstream grocery stores are all carrying these products to help promote good healthy eating. You do not have to shop at a fancy organice supermarket and pay double the price.

To make a lifestyle change, we all have to make changes. It is so much easier to buy products that are heart healthy and good for your whole body. There really is no excuse of why you can not add whole grains and good carbs to your diet. In the long run, you will feel better, look better, and be glad you did. So remember, choose wisely. Carbs are not bad, if you choose the right ones.
