A Review of the F Fat Loss Formula Weight Loss Supplement

The F Fat Loss Formula is one of many weight loss supplements on the market today. It is made by Musashi, an Australian-owned and run company formed in the mid to late eighties. The company that markets F Fat Loss Formula is still run by founder Tim Horewood, and the company sells a number of sports supplements in addition to the F Fat Loss Formula.

The manufacturer of the F Fat Loss Formula claims that their formulation provides one of the most efficient fat mobilizing and fat transporting combination of ingredients available, and that the F Fat Loss Formula is one of the most potent of weight loss products.

For now, the F Fat Loss Formula seems to only be available in the UK and Australia, but I’m sure it will make its way to your corner of the world soon. The F Fat Loss Formula sells for around $49.95 Australian ($36.60 in US dollars), depending on the distributor. While the F Fat Loss Formula seems to have some good marketing behind it and includes some potentially beneficial ingredients, it does not appear to be the miracle weight loss formula the company has claimed.

The F Fat Loss Formula includes the following ingredients in its formulation:

f fat loss formula Choline Bitartrate 880 mgInositol 880 mgL-Methionine 880 mgL-Phenylalanine 370 mgL-Carnitine 300 mgAcetyl L-Carnitine 150 mgLemon Flavor 80 mgDextrose Monohydrate 60 mgChromium Picolinate 50 ug

Based on my research of the F Fat Loss Formula, I do not recommend this product. It seems that this supplement will have minimal, if any, effect on weight loss.

As part of my research of the F Fat Loss Formula, I headed straight to the Members Zone of Will Brinks, Diet Supplements Revealed. For those of you not familiar with Will Brink, he’s a well-known and highly regarded sports nutrition expert and trainer. He’s also the best-selling author of Bodybuilding Revealed and of course, Fat Loss Revealed. When you purchase either one of his books, you get access to an exclusive Member’s Zone where you have the opportunity to get information on just about anything in the world of health and fitness directly from top experts in the field. At any rate, the F Fat Loss Formula is considered a “lipotropic” formula. Lipotropics are substances that supposedly prevent an abnormal accumulation of fat in the liver. Besides improving fat metabolism, lipotropics are also supposed to aid in the metabolism of fat soluble nutrients and aid the liver in its other metabolic functions such as the processing of hormones, estrogen, sulfa drugs, glucose, and glycogen. The four lipotropics are methionine, choline, inositol, and betaine. Here is what Will Brink himself had to say about lipotropic formulas:

Lipotropics, such as inositol and choline, have been around forever as weight loss supplements and they don’t do a bloody thing for weight loss. Some may, in fact, be a helpful ingredient in a weight loss formula for various reasons, but used alone are not effective weight loss products…My general recommendation at this time: If a lipotropic nutrient is found in some weight loss formula that has other effective ingredients, no harm is done and it may or may not help. Probably not. Products sold exclusively as lipotropic formulas (i.e., choline and inositol supplements) are unlikely to have any appreciable effects on weight loss.

Here is what another expert in the Members Zone had to say about the F Fat Loss Formula:

In the case of this particular formula (the F Fat Loss Formula), there is very little else here that would assist w/fat loss: methionine and phenylalanine are amino acids, and as such, are already in good supply in a diet high in animal protein. L-carnitine/acetyl l-carnitine have been staples of weight loss supps for years, and don’t do squat. Chromium can assist w/blood sugar regulation, but once again, is not much of an assist to fat loss. There is very little justification for lipotropic formulas for fat loss. The only actual piece of research I could find was this study looking at the effects of a particular commercial formula, which showed no difference in weight loss between supplement and control groups, but some positive effects on body comp – how much, I couldn’t say, since I’d have to pay for the full article to see. But my hunch is: over a 4 week period, it wasn’t that much…a big difference would have been worth reporting in the abstract. When they write that there was a “significant” difference, it means statistically significant: that is, the observed difference was unlikely to have been due to chance. It doesn’t mean “major.” So, given the time frame involved, the difference was probably a pound or two. The main ingredients in this supp have some use from an overall health perspective, but I’d expect any fat loss benefits to be mild, at best. Not really worth it, IMO.

So there you have it. Even if you disagree with what the experts have to say, don’t you think that if the F Fat Loss Formula really worked it would be the hottest product on the market and we’d all be eating cheeseburgers and fries? If all we had to do was pop a few pills and shed weight, we’d all be eating whatever we wanted! Plus, if this formula was so effective, you’d hear about it everywhere and we’d be on a fast track to literally curing the obesity epidemic that as spread across the U.S. and U.K. The bottom line on the F Fat Loss Formula is that it has some interesting ingredients, but not really much in the way of an effective weight loss formula. The only weight loss formula that has been proven time and time again to work is eating right and regular exercise. Stick to those two and I promise you’ll lose more weight than you’d ever lose taking the F Fat Loss Formula!
